Scibreak develops fast DC switchgear based on our proprietary technology with leading performance in terms of speed, losses, volume and cost. We are expanding our team to provide full protection solutions for multi-terminal HVDC grids. Recently the plans for multi-terminal HVDC grids have quickly progressed from being on the horizon to something urgently needed to avoid the energy crisis in Europe and to provide a path to a carbon-neutral society.
We recently became part of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, which greatly enhances our abilities to develop and market our technology. Our work environment combines the flexibility of the small company with the resources and global reach of a large corporation.
We are looking for a design engineer with broad knowledge in electrotechnical design, electronics and power electronics. We believe you have an MSc in electrical engineering or engineering physics. As a design engineer at Scibreak you will design subsystems for circuit breakers for dc grids. The tasks will include design of electric power equipment and electronics, embedded programming and modelling as well as practical work in the laboratory.
As we are a small organization, we appreciate versatility and the ability to take responsibility for your work.
Your background
You have an MSc in electrical engineering, engineering physics, or similar and preferably several years of experience in design of electronics and electrical systems.
We also value general knowledge of switchgear, power grids, FPGA-development and mechanical design.
What we offer
You will receive a competitive salary and great possibilities to grow your career in the HVDC field together with us. The main working location will be at our office in central Stockholm, Sweden.
